Actor Warren Masemola Is Suffering From Alopecia



Actor Warren Masemola is a 37 year old award winning South African actor . Warren is using his baldness condition to his advantage.He is using as his trademark look in the entertainment industry.

Actor Warren Masemola ’s baldness is not a disease but it’s a condition called Alopecia Areata. While many make use of dreadlocks, braids or blonde hair to get attention Masemola is using his baldness instead.

Alopecia is the sudden hair loss that begins with one or more circular bald patches that may overlap. This happen when the immune system damages hair follicles and may be triggered by severe stress.

Warren shared this in an interview with Drum Magazine. He shared that being bald was a concern for him growing up. He was diagnosed with Alopecia at the age of six.

He was bullied because of this as a young boy as most people and other children had no knowledge of such a condition. When he was in Grade 7, his father died however his mother remained as his shoulder to lean on.

The 37 year old actor has been appreciated for his wonderful work in the entertainment industry. So far he has won many awards for Best actor in South Africa.
