KFC job openings allow professionals to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
Many of KFC’s job offers are aimed at people with no experience, thus being the gateway for millions of workers who are looking for their first job or who need to change careers. It is worth mentioning that the fast food chain was one of the first to expand its hiring field.
As it does not require experience, KFC offers specialized courses and training to its employees. The objective is to train professionals and advance their careers. Given so many processes and the fast pace of work in the company’s units, this specialization is of great importance.
Globally known, KFC values the development of its employees, although it is a company that needs profits to maintain itself, the chain does not compromise on its values. Therefore, well-being, respect, benefits and appreciation are some of the points followed strictly by the brand.
How did KFC come about? Who is the founder?
Kentucky Fried Chicken, better known as KFC, is a global chain of fried chicken restaurants that has a fascinating history. Founded in 1930 by Harland Sanders, the company has undergone a series of changes over the years and has become one of the largest fast food chains in the world.
Harland David Sanders, the famous Colonel Sanders, was born in 1890 and had a life full of challenges and twists and turns. He started selling fried chicken in a restaurant that operated alongside a gas station at the age of 40, as a way to save his current business.
In 1939, Sanders created his “secret recipe” for fried chicken, which included 11 special herbs and seasonings. In 1952, he licensed his first franchise, a business model that would soon bring him fame and fortune. Just over ten years later, KFC was already the largest fast food chain in the United States.
In addition to founding KFC, Sanders became the brand’s poster boy: his face soon became known to his customers. In 1964, the colonel sold the network to a group of investors for US$2 million (about US$17 million today). The contract included a lifetime salary for Sanders and the agreement that he would control the quality of the products and continue to represent the brand’s public image. The businessman died in 1980, aged 90, but left a legacy that continues to thrive today.
